The Zit Zone
It never seems to fail. Right before that big interview, date or party, the world’s biggest zit pops up somewhere right in the zit zone of your face. It’s not that nobody in the world suffers from zits; anyone who has ever had a face has had to take on a zit or two in their life. It’s just that these monsters seem to have a mind of their own and dealing with them can be quite inconvenient.
While some people like to take a zit and pop it and then just cover their zits in acne cream, some feel the smarter thing to do is to get to the root of the problem and try and figure out what makes zits erupt in the first place. While we know the process that sits go through as they form, it’s hard to understand what triggers the process. While dirt and clogged pores play their part, no one person has all the same triggers. The trigger can be external, such as an allergic reaction to a material or substance or the trigger can be internal, such as an imbalance in hormones. Even then, there is no way to know the exact trigger of a breakout for every person. Because of this, there is no single zit remedy that will work for every person.
This can seem like bad news for those looking to find a zit zapper and something to clear zits fast. However, there are many things that work, it’s just a task of finding out what that product or method is. Whether it’s an entire breakout you’re facing or one tiny zit, acne skin care products are readily available. Many find a regimen that works for them through the recommendation of friends or family members. This can be a store bought product or even a home remedy for zits.
No matter how tempting, popping zits is never a good idea. No matter what anyone says, the best way to pop a zit is not to. Allowing the body’s natural processes to take over is best. Squeezing any zit below the surface of the skin will push the infection deeper into the pore and make things worse. This is also should you find a big zit on another part of your body. To find zits on the arm or zits on any other part of the body generally have to do with ingrown hairs. To find a huge zit on the back of the legs or buttocks is not uncommon. To prevent this, always shower after physical exercise and use a loofah sponge to exfoliate dead skin cells from the body and moisturize with water based lotions with no fragrance.
